Affordable Housing Impact Statement Study
On May 5, 2016, the City Council passed Motion M-16-167 which directs the City Planning Commission to conduct a public hearing and study to investigate how affordable housing impact can be assessed as part of land-use and building applications, including but not limited to the use of affordable housing impact statements, and to recommend potential changes to the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance and other applicable codes, if necessary. The City Planning Commission should conduct and complete the study within 120 days of the passage of Motion M-16-167 and conduct a public hearing within 60 days of the passage of the motion.
