Affordable Housing Impact Statements Sought in Multnomah County, Oregon

On Thursday, May 05, 2016, SMART ALEC co-founder Matthew Charles Cardinale made a presentation to the Board of Commissioners of Multnomah County, Oregon, seeking that the County be the first to adopt Affordable Housing Impact Statements.

The presentation focused on the history and background of Affordable Housing Impact Statements, how they came to be adopted in Atlanta, and how they can be used to document the impacts of funding decisions by Multnomah County upon the County’s affordable housing stock.
